Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Sunday 9/30/2012--A Prayer

Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Sunday 9/30/2012--A Prayer Strength

To you I call, O Lord my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to my prayers this day. Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands to you in prayer. Even as I wait upon you in prayer O God for deliverance, I will exalt your holy name; for through Christ Jesus you have always been faithful to me: lifting me up from the depths of despair; never letting the enemy triumph over me.

So I praise you Father for I know that you will answer my cry for mercy and strength. The Lord God Almighty is my strength and my shield, and I will not be afraid; my heart trusts in you always Lord Jesus, and I will not give way to fear; for your blood O Christ has spared me from going down into the pit; you delivered me up from the grave and you saved me, for I am wonderfully and fearfully yours.

So I call to you for perseverance and you will heal me, O Lord. Although weeping and trials may remain for a season, I will always ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name. Since there is no gain in my spiritual destruction Lord I cry to you for mercy; since the dust cannot praise you, nor proclaim your faithfulness to me in Christ, I will worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

Since Christ Jesus is my righteousness, holiness and redemption I will never be shaken. Therefore Lord, I ascribe to you glory and strength in both good times and bad. Because you have shown me your divine and loving favor O God, I will stand firm in the gospel of peace.

So please hear me today Lord and answer me. O Lord, and be merciful to me and help me to remain firm. Turn my wailing into rejoicing that I might sing to you with a grateful and joyful heart. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever for you are the strength of your saints; through your anointed one, Jesus Christ, you are our fortress of salvation and we will praise your holy name.

May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my God, my Rock and my Redeemer.
In Christ name I Pray
Amen
