Each day this Blog posts prayer from the Word of God that you can pray each day. The prayers are modified to make them very personal and all are Jesus Christ focused. You are encouraged to post your own prayers from scriptures as well. The Author, Jack Pinnock, is an Elder and The Prayer Ministry Director of The Real Life Church.

Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Thursday 9/13/2012
A Prayer of Thanks
O God, you are my God; apart from you I have no good thing. You have made known to me the path of life through faith in your son Jesus Christ. You have welcomed me through the narrow gate of Christ; for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction Father, and I know that many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to Life, and how it must sadden your heart Holy Father that only a few find it.
Therefore I give thanks Lord, that you have assigned me my portion and my cup in Christ; you have made my lot secure in Him. The boundary of the hope of eternal life has fallen in pleasant places for me; for surely I have a delightful inheritance in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore I will praise you Lord, as your Holy Spirit counsels and guides me to you. At night may the Spirit of the Lord reside in my heart and instruct me.
I have set my heart on seeking your face that is always before me Lord, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices over the hope of my salvation; my body also will rest secure in the precious knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord. You will fill me with the joy of Christ in your presence, with heavenly rewards in the One who sits at your right hand.
As for the saints who are in the land, are we not the glorious ones in Christ in whom you take delight. For the sake of our blessed inheritance in Christ, I pray that you keep us safe from the evil one O God, for we have taken refuge in you.
So may we never miss the grace of you our God as we abide wholeheartedly in Christ Jesus our Lord!
In Christ name I Pray
Amen
