Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Thursday 9/20/2012 A Prayer—To Stand Holy Father, as I pick up my cross today and follow Jesus with all my heart, I pray to be strong in you Lord and in your mighty power. On this day Lord, I put on the full armor of God; and on this day I take my stand against the devil’s schemes, refusing to be overcome by evil; refusing to be overcome by fear; refusing to be overcome by unbelief or doubt; refusing to be overcome by anxiety. Rather, may my love and faithfulness to Christ never leave me Lord; for the joy of my Lord Jesus Christ is my strength! And my soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.  So write the cross on the tablet of my heart Father, as I trust in you always. I give thanks for my savior Jesus Christ and praise you for keeping my path in Christ straight. For you are my God, and I give you thanks. You are my God, and I will exalt you. I give you thanks Lord God for you alone are good, and your love endures forever. In Christ Name I Pray. Amen
