A Prayer—Thanksgiving for Deliverance
I love you O Lord, for you heard my voice; you heard my cry for mercy. Because you turned your ear to me, I will call on you as long as I live. The cords of death had entangled me, the danger of Sheol was before me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.
Then I called on the name of my Lord Jesus Christ; I made my good confession that Jesus Christ is Lord. O Lord, save me, I prayed, and by your grace you saved me O God; for you are full of compassion. You protect and bless the simplehearted who are poor in spirit, and you have given us the kingdom of heaven; You have blessed those who mourn and wail, and comfort us in our time of need; you have blessed those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, and guarantee us to be filled; you blessed those who are pure in heart, and assure us that we will see you face.
So I tell myself, be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord God has been good to you. For you, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
I believed in your word; I took it’s warnings to heart. Therefore I said, "I am greatly afflicted, and in need of a Savior;” then you answered me with Christ’s redeeming blood. How can I repay you Lord for all your goodness to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
O Lord, truly I am your servant; I am your servant, an ambassador of Christ, as you continue to make your appeal to mankind through us ; by Christ you have freed me from my chains of sin. Therefore teach me, O God, how to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to you through Jesus Christ our Savior.
I will sacrifice a thank offerings to you O Lord, and call on the name of the Lord each day. I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people, in the courts of the house of my God. Please bless us O God to show mercy to one another; bless us O God to serve as your peacemakers with mankind.
And we thank you O God for your mercy, and praise you that we are called sons and daughters of the living Sovereign God Almighty, for ours is indeed the kingdom of heaven!
Praise the Lord
In Christ Name I Pray
Amen
