A Prayer--Deliverance
To you I call, O Lord my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to the prayers of your Saints. Hear our cry for mercy as we call to you for help, and lift up our hands to you in prayer. We will wait upon you in prayer O God for deliverance, and exalt your holy name. For through Christ Jesus you have always been faithful, lifting us up from the depths of despair; never letting the enemy triumph over the Saints.
So we praise you Father for we know that you will answer our cry for strength. The Lord God Almighty is our strength and our shield; we will not be afraid; our hearts trust in you always Lord Jesus, and we will not give way to fear; for your blood, O Christ, has spared us from going down into the pit; you delivered us from the grave and you saved us, for we are wonderfully and fearfully yours.
So I call to you for perseverance and healing for the Saints O Lord. Although our hearts grieve that this world is in a season of great sin and rebellion against you O God, may your Saints always ascribe to the Lord the glory due your name and worship the Lord in the splendor of your holiness. Since Christ Jesus is our righteousness, holiness and redemption we will stand firm in the gospel of peace.
So please hear us today Lord and answer. O Lord, be merciful to us and help us to stand firm that we may rejoice, singing to you with grateful and joyful hearts. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever for you are the strength of your saints; through your anointed One, Jesus Christ, you are our fortress of salvation and we will praise your holy name.
May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, our God, our Rock and our Redeemer.
