A Pray--of Strength
O LORD God, enthroned in heaven, you alone are our God; and the maker of heaven and earth. Give ear, O LORD, and hear our prayers; open your eyes, O LORD, and look upon our need for your Son here on earth.
Because of your great mercy Father, we continue in your kindness through Jesus Christ our Lord. Remember, O LORD, how we have walked before you faithfully in Christ, and with wholehearted devotion have done what is good in your eyes each day. So please remember us O Lord as we wrestle with our thoughts and each day carry sorrow in our heart over the spiritual condition of this world.
Look on us and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to the eyes of your people, because we trust in your unfailing love; grant us hearts that overflow with rejoicing in the salvation of Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus, as the Saints face all kinds of grief and trials, I pray to always keep in mind that these times have come so that our faith—of greater worth than gold, may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Because even though we have not seen you Lord, we love you; we believe in you, and we pledge to follow you with all our heart, soul, and strength.
For it is your love Jesus and your blood that compels us to overcome all evil, because we are convinced that you died for all, and therefore all died through you. And so Christ I pray to be strengthened with all your power to overcome this world according to your glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience, and always joyfully give thanks to the Father.
For our God, has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of God; and our God has redeemed us by the precious blood of our savior Jesus Christ.
So I pray that out of your glorious riches that you may strengthen us with power through your Spirit in our inner being so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith.
In Christ Amen I Pray
Amen.
