Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Tuesday 10/9/2012 A Prayer—Of Peace That Transcends Understanding Holy Father, today and always I rejoice in my Lord Jesus Christ. I will forever rejoice in the salvation of Christ Jesus my savior. I pray for a gentle and loving heart that, by grace, be evident to all, Father, for we know that you are near. I pray that we would not be anxious about anything today, but every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, may we faithfully present all our requests to you our God.  And in so doing Father, may the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, jealously guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, Lord, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—I pray that we think about such things knowing that you, our God of peace, will always be with us. For in all the challenges of life, I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. By your grace, O God, have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want; and I give you sincere thanks this day, that by your grace given me, I can do everything through Him who gives me strength. In Christ Name I Pray Amen Philippians 4: 4-9, 12-13
