A Prayer— Christ in Us
Thank you Father that everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves you our Father loves Jesus your son as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving you Father and carrying out your commands.
This is love for you God: to obey your commands. And I give thanks Lord that your commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes this world. This is the great victory that you have given us to overcome the world: our faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Who is it therefore that you have empowered Lord to overcome this world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God!
Therefore Lord God, let this be our testimony and may it carry your power and your glory from now on: that you have given us eternal life, and this life is in your Son Jesus Christ. He who has the Son of God has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
