Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Thursday 12/13/12

Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Thursday 12/13/12

A Prayer—Be Still my Soul and Wait Upon God

Out of the depths of my heart I cry to you, O Lord; O Lord my God, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy, for greater faith, for strength to overcome, for your Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth.

Just as the Apostles earnestly prayed so I Pray in earnest dear God: Lord increase my faith; Lord increase our faith. Grant us a Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know your better, O God; to love and revere your Holy name always.

If you, O Lord, kept a record of our sins who could stand in your divine presence? But with you Father, there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared O God.

I wait for you O Lord, my soul waits, and in your word I put my hope. My soul waits for you my God. We your Saints have put our hope in your promises; we have placed our hope in your Son. For He, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the “Amen”; He is the faithful and true witness, and He is the ruler of God’s creation. In Him O God is your unfailing love; and with Him there is full redemption.

So Father, I have stilled and quieted my soul as I wait for this hope that you have so generously placed in our hearts. Like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Therefore, I will be still, and know that you are God; be exalted among the nations O God, be exalted in all the earth.

In Christ Name I Pray
Amen
