Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Saturday 12/15/2012

Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Saturday 12/15/2012

A Prayer—for the Newtown, Conn. Tragedy

Lord God I say a special prayer for the families, teachers, school administrators, social workers, first responders, police, medical personnel, relatives, churches, and all that are affected by the horrible tragedy in Newtown Conn.

So we cry out to you O God, on their behalf and give thanks that you have heard our prayers for them. For we know that many are brokenhearted, and crushed in Spirit, so please save them from these times of great grieving, O God; deliver them according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion.

You have promised us O Lord that you will bless those who mourn by bringing them comfort. So have mercy on them O God, and bring comfort to the parents of those that have lost their beloved children today for they are your children Lord. Tonight Lord they are grieving bitterly, so I ask that out of your great love, you please bring them your unfailing compassion for great is your faithfulness to your promises to mankind O God.

Comfort those who have lost a father, or a mother, or a brother, or a sister, or a spouse or a relative or a friend O Lord.

Holy Father, please guide and bless and comfort the children that witnessed and survived this epic tragedy. As these children go through the days, and weeks, and months, and even years ahead, they require your continued healing power, and your comfort Father. Guide them Lord God; heal them Father, for only you can comfort the broken hearted; only you can save those crushed in spirit. So in Christ name O God I ask that you heal these suffering and frightened children. Grant them your peace that transcends understanding as they grieve and mourn the loss of their school mates.

The Responders O God carrying the bodies of your children from the school, the medical personnel, the children and the teachers all have pictures in their hearts and minds that they are not likely to ever forget. So I pray Father that you heal them all, without limit. They have all been deeply scared and emotionally injured so we ask that you bind up their wounded hearts and lives, and bring them news of your unfailing love.

I am so very sorry Lord that all this has happened to grieve you so greatly Lord, for I know that you are deeply grieved over the murder of your children and that your heart is filled with pain. Bring news of you unfailing love to us all O God. Heal us all, for nothing is impossible for the Lord our beloved God.
And I especially pray than many will say let us return to the Lord our God for He alone is the God of all comfort and his mercy is very great.
In Christ Name I Pray
Amen
