A Prayer—Praise the Lord O my Soul
Praise the Lord O my soul. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise you Father!
The Lord our God builds up His house; he gathers the saints for
salvation. O God you heal the brokenhearted and bind up our wounds. You,
O Lord, save and sustain the humble on the path of life, but cast the
wicked to the ground on the path to death.
For wide is the
gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and how is must
sadden your heart O God, that many enter through it. But small is the
gate and narrow the road that leads to life and how we sorrow with you
Father, that only a few find it.
So enable that Saints in the
land, O God, to sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; inspire our hearts
to make music to our God. For it is you our God that covers the sky with
clouds; you supply the earth with rain and make grass grow on the
hills; you provide food for every living creature on earth and in the
seas. You determine the number of the stars and call them each by name!
For Great is the Lord our God; and mighty is your power; your
understanding O God has no limit.
Your pleasure, Lord God, is
not in the strength of the neither mighty nor powerful, nor do you
delight in the wisdom and achievements of mankind; so we praise you Lord
God, that your delight is in those who fear you, and those who put
their hope in your unfailing love in Jesus Christ or Savior.
So
we will extol the Lord our God forever, for He has revealed his word to
His Prophets and to His Saints. Praise the Lord O my soul; praise the
Lord.

A Prayer—of Spiritual Warfare
Lord God, although we live in this world we refuse to wage war as the
world does. The powerful weapons of our life of faith and obedience to
your message of Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection, and ascension are
not the weapons of this world.
On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We
therefore demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up
against the knowledge of God; and by the divine power of Christ, we take
captive every thought and make them all obedient to Jesus Christ.
O Lord our God, be not far off in this battle; O my Strength, always
come quickly to help us. Deliver our lives from all evil; our precious
life in Christ from the power of darkness. Rescue us from the devils
schemes; save us from his flaming arrows.
For dominion belongs
to you Lord and you rule over heaven and earth. I praise you that you
always and forever will work through to the good in the lives of all who
love you, and who fear your holy name.

A Prayer—of Praise
I will exalt you, my God and my King; I will praise your name for ever
and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and
ever.
Great is the Lord and
most worthy of praise; your greatness no one can fathom. One generation
will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.
They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will
meditate on your wonderful works. They will tell of the power of your
awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They will
celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your
righteousness. For the Lord our God is gracious and compassionate, slow
to anger and rich in love. You are good O Lord to all; you have
compassion on all you have made.
All you have made will praise
you, O Lord; your saints will extol you. They will tell of the glory of
your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all men may know of your
mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is

A Prayer—of Transformation, Godliness, Repentance
Since we have been raised with Christ, O God, please help us to set our
hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at your right hand. Yes
Lord, may we set our minds on things above, not on earthly things.
For In Christ Jesus we died, and we thank you that our lives are now
hidden with Christ in you, our God. So we praise you Father, and we
thank you that when Christ, who is our life appears, then we also will
appear with him in glory.
Therefore I pray in earnest that we
put to death whatever belongs to our earthly nature: including sexual
immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, all of which is
idolatry; and may we put to death anything else in our lives that is not
pleasing to you, our God. We know Lord that it is because of these
that the wrath of God is coming.
I give thanks that because of
your great mercy to us in Christ, the old self was taken off and the
new self put on, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image our
Creator, The Lord God Almighty is his name.
But now O God, I
pray that we rid ourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage,
malice, slander, and filthy language from our lips. As your chosen
people Father, holy and dearly loved by you, I pray that we clothe
ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
I pray that we bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances we
may have against one another. Empower us to forgive O God, just, as in
Christ Jesus, you forgave us.
And over all these virtues
Father, I pray that we put on love, which binds them all together in
perfect unity. I pray that the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, since
as members of one body we were called to peace. And I pray that we
would always be thankful.
I pray that the word of Christ dwell
in us richly, O God. When we come together to sing psalms, hymns and
spiritual songs may our hearts overflow with gratitude to you our God
for all that you have done for us through Jesus Christ our Lord.
And whatever we you do, Father, whether in word or deed, I pray that we
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to you, our God
and Father through him.

A Poem For Him
Money in the Millions upon Millions will come and eventually go.
What we have in God & Christ will last, and the world does not yet know.
Bringing Glory to God with a life of earnest prayers, and service to him through and through,
This is really our true life on earth and the task we must do.
Christ, this great mystery of God, and the forgiveness of all sin,
Love, trust and faith in his Holy Blood, with wholehearted pursuit of this I can win.
So power, friends, homes, family, even material wealth are all good when things are straight,
But a life completely devoted to God is what is lasting, good, and great;
This Hope is Holy, it is precious, and it fills all voids with the treasure of Christ for us his seeds,
Truly these are the things, which are Godly, powerful, and persistent commitment to them is what will fulfill our every need.

A Prayer—O Lord my Strength
I love you, O LORD, my strength. I thank you that are my rock, my
fortress and my deliverer; My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge;
you are my shield, and the horn of my salvation; you are my stronghold.
The LORD Jesus Christ is my light and my salvation —whom shall I fear O
God, but you alone? You are the stronghold of my life Father—of whom
shall I be afraid? When the evil day comes against me to devour me, it
will stumble and fall. Though many trails besiege me, my heart will not
fear; though spiritual war breaks out against me, even then I will be
confident.
One thing I ask from you Father, this is what I
seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
through faith in Jesus Christ; that I may gaze on the beauty and
majesty of the LORD and seek you wholeheartedly at all times.
For in the days of trouble you keep safely in Christ. For you are my
God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. I

A Prayer—For this Living Hope
I will forever praise you, the God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ!
For In your great mercy O God, you have given us new birth into a
living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
In your great mercy you have given us an inheritance that can never
perish, spoil or fade; in your great mercy you have kept our salvation
tucked away in heaven for all those who, through faith, are shielded by
your great power.
In this salvation Lord God, I greatly
rejoice, even though now for a little while, we may have to suffer grief
in all kinds of trials. I praise you Lord, even in these storms; for
they have come so that my faith—of greater worth than gold,—may be
proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus
Christ is revealed.
So I pray Lord that you make my faith
genuine through these trials as you have promised; make my faith one of
sincere and devoted love for you; love for Christ; love for our
neighbor; love for the family of believers.
As you have
written Lord “Be holy, because I am holy.” Therefore as obedient
children make us holy in all that we do Lord, and in all that we are.

A Prayer--of Gratitude for the Hope we have in Christ
I thank you Father for including me among God’s elect. We are strangers
in this world Lord, yet chosen according to the foreknowledge of you
our God and Father. Through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, you
have called us to obedience to Jesus Christ our Lord, and covered us
with sprinkling by his blood for the forgiveness of all sins.
As for me Lord there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things
came and for whom I live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ,
through whom all things came and through whom I live.
May your
eyes always be upon those who fear you Lord God; may you always guard
and protect those whose hope is in your unfailing love given us through
Christ Jesus our Lord.
So I earnestly pray to always wait
patiently in hope for your mighty deliverance O God; for you are my help
and my shield. In you our hearts rejoice, for we trust in your Holy
name; we trust in your Son Jesus Christ. I pray that your unfailing
love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you all day long.
For the joy of the LORD Jesus is my strength. Though I have not seen
you Lord as the Apostles did, I love you; and even though I do not see
you now, I believe in you; therefore may you fill me with your
inexpressible and glorious joy, for in all my trials and struggles I am

A Prayer--of Obedience to God’s Word
Oh, God that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! Then I
would not be put to shame when I consider all of your commands. Father I
will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. I
will obey your decrees; please do not utterly forsake me.
How can I keep my way pure? By living according to your commands through Christ!!
I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands;
do not let my heart stray from Jesus Christ. I have hidden your word in
my heart that I might not sin against you.
Praise be to you, O
Lord; teach me your decrees in Christ. With my lips I recount all the
laws that come from your mouth. I rejoice in following Christ as one

A Prayer—Put Your Hope and Trust In God
As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet and worship my God?
There are times O Lord, when worries and trials seem like food to me, while the enemy says to me all day long, “Where is your God?” These things I remember as I continue to pour out my soul to you: how I so enjoy the fellowship of the believers, as we offer praise and worship in the house of God, with shouts of joy and thanksgiving to exalt our God!
So, why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? I will put my hope and trust in God, for I will yet praise you my Savior and my God!
My soul is downcast within me at times Father; therefore I will remember you O God; I will remember the love and sacrifice of your son, Jesus Christ our savior. From the land of the beautiful flowing Jordan, to a trip down the Via Delarosa deep calls to deep in the roar of your divine waterfalls; for all your waves and breakers in Christ have swept over me.
By day O Lord direct the love of Christ in my heart, at night may a song of praise be with me along with a prayer to the God of my life. I say to God my Rock, do not forget your faithful Saints O God even as some go about mourning and suffering as the enemy taunts us, all day long, saying: Where is your God? Where is your God?

Holy Father, today I rejoice in my Lord Jesus Christ. I will forever rejoice in our gift salvation of by faith Christ Jesus my savior. Father, I pray for a gentle and loving heart that is evident to all, for we know that you are near.
I pray that we would not be anxious about anything today, but every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, may we faithfully present all our requests to you our God.
And in so doing Father, may the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, jealously guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, Lord, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—I pray that we think about such things knowing that you, our God of peace, will always be with us.

A Prayer—for the Newtown, Conn. Tragedy
Lord God I say a special prayer for the families, teachers, school administrators, social workers, first responders, police, medical personnel, relatives, churches, and all that are affected by the horrible tragedy in Newtown Conn.
So we cry out to you O God, on their behalf and give thanks that you have heard our prayers for them. For we know that many are brokenhearted, and crushed in Spirit, so please save them from these times of great grieving, O God; deliver them according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion.
You have promised us O Lord that you will bless those who mourn by bringing them comfort. So have mercy on them O God, and bring comfort to the parents of those that have lost their beloved children today for they are your children Lord. Tonight Lord they are grieving bitterly, so I ask that out of your great love, you please bring them your unfailing compassion for great is your faithfulness to your promises to mankind O God.
Comfort those who have lost a father, or a mother, or a brother, or a sister, or a spouse or a relative or a friend O Lord.
Holy Father, please guide and bless and comfort the children that witnessed and survived this epic tragedy. As these children go through the days, and weeks, and months, and even years ahead, they require your continued healing power, and your comfort Father. Guide them Lord God; heal them Father, for only you can comfort the broken hearted; only you can save those crushed in spirit. So in Christ name O God I ask that you heal these suffering and frightened children. Grant them your peace that transcends understanding as they grieve and mourn the loss of their school mates.
The Responders O God carrying the bodies of your children from the school, the medical personnel, the children and the teachers all have pictures in their hearts and minds that they are not likely to ever forget. So I pray Father that you heal them all, without limit. They have all been deeply scared and emotionally injured so we ask that you bind up their wounded hearts and lives, and bring them news of your unfailing love.
I am so very sorry Lord that all this has happened to grieve you so greatly Lord, for I know that you are deeply grieved over the murder of your children and that your heart is filled with pain. Bring news of you unfailing love to us all O God. Heal us all, for nothing is impossible for the Lord our beloved God.
And I especially pray than many will say let us return to the Lord our God for He alone is the God of all comfort and his mercy is very great.

A Prayer—for the Newtown, Conn. Tragedy
Lord God I say a special prayer for the families, teachers, school administrators, social workers, first responders, police, medical personnel, relatives, churches, and all that are affected by the horrible tragedy in Newtown Conn.
So we cry out to you O God, on their behalf and give thanks that you have heard our prayers for them. For we know that many are brokenhearted, and crushed in Spirit, so please save them from these times of great grieving, O God; deliver them according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion.
You have promised us O Lord that you will bless those who mourn by bringing them comfort. So have mercy on them O God, and bring comfort to the parents of those that have lost their beloved children today for they are your children Lord. Tonight Lord they are grieving bitterly, so I ask that out of your great love, you please bring them your unfailing compassion for great is your faithfulness to your promises to mankind O God.
Comfort those who have lost a father, or a mother, or a brother, or a sister, or a spouse or a relative or a friend O Lord.
Holy Father, please guide and bless and comfort the children that witnessed and survived this epic tragedy. As these children go through the days, and weeks, and months, and even years ahead, they require your continued healing power, and your comfort Father. Guide them Lord God; heal them Father, for only you can comfort the broken hearted; only you can save those crushed in spirit. So in Christ name O God I ask that you heal these suffering and frightened children. Grant them your peace that transcends understanding as they grieve and mourn the loss of their school mates.
The Responders O God carrying the bodies of your children from the school, the medical personnel, the children and the teachers all have pictures in their hearts and minds that they are not likely to ever forget. So I pray Father that you heal them all, without limit. They have all been deeply scared and emotionally injured so we ask that you bind up their wounded hearts and lives, and bring them news of your unfailing love.
I am so very sorry Lord that all this has happened to grieve you so greatly Lord, for I know that you are deeply grieved over the murder of your children and that your heart is filled with pain. Bring news of you unfailing love to us all O God. Heal us all, for nothing is impossible for the Lord our beloved God.
And I especially pray than many will say let us return to the Lord our God for He alone is the God of all comfort and his mercy is very great.

A Prayer—Of Worship
O Sovereign God, you are light; and in Father there is no darkness at
all! So teach us O Lord to worship you in the Splendor of your
Holiness; teach us O Lord to worship you in spirit and in truth, always
loving and revering your Holy name.
Thank you O God, for the power you have granted us to overcome the
arrows and schemes of the evil one by the precious Blood of the Lamb.
Give us the strength and courage to hold firmly to Jesus Christ our
Sovereign Lord and Savior, for greater is the One who is in us than the
one who is in the world.
Therefore I will fall down before him
who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever. And
my heart will always mirror the holy angels in heaven and declare by
faith and with the power of your Holy Spirit within me O God that “You
are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for
you created all things, and by your will they were all created and have
their being.”
It is you O God, which has given us life, and
breath, and everything else. For in you we live and we move and we have
our being.
So I submit my life to you wholeheartedly O Lord,

A Prayer—Ask the Lord of the Harvest
Lord as the people of God earnestly carry out your will here on earth; and since we know with certainty that you have made Jesus both Lord and Christ, I pray that many in this upcoming season of harvest would be cut to the heart by the Gospel of Peace.
A Prayer—Ask the Lord of the Harvest
Lord as the people of God earnestly carry out your will here on earth; and since we know with certainty that you have made Jesus both Lord and Christ, I pray that many in this upcoming season of harvest would be cut to the heart by the Gospel of Peace.
For all those whom you will call through our ministries Father, I pray that many would accept the message of the Gospel of peace, repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins and rejoice as they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
As you add more and more of those being saved to your Churches Lord, I pray that the body of Christ would be devoted like never before, to the teachings of your holy Apostles, and Prophets, as seen in the Word of God. I pray also that we would devote ourselves to loving and serving the family of believers; devote ourselves to the breaking bread together; and I especially pray that we would devote ourselves to prayer during the 2013 season of harvest.
As we continue to faithfully meet together as you command O God, I pray that you and Christ would be the sovereign common feature united us in your work. Grant us O Lord, glad and sincere hearts, as we praise you our Lord and our God; and I pray that each day you would send to us all those whom you are calling to salvation so that we may obey you and lead many to Jesus Christ.
I Pray that you grant us lives like the seed on good soil with noble and good hearts, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop one hundred, sixty or thirty times what you have sown in our hearts, through faith!
Father, the harvest is plentiful but the worker are so few; so we ask you as the Lord of the harvest to send forth many workers into you harvest field for the 2013 harvest season.

Lord God Almighty, I pray that this upcoming year would be a season of a
great harvest; that we your Saints all over the world, would bear fruit
in every good work; that we would grow in the knowledge of God, and be
strengthened with all power according to your glorious might so that we
may have great endurance and patience joyfully giving thanks for your
moving so powerfully among us.
I
pray that the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would grow
like never before, and bear much fruit: in our individual lives &
relationships, in our families, in our households, in our small bible
groups, in our churches, in our communities, in our nation, and all
over the world.
In all that you will do in us and through us O
God, I pray that we would trust in you with all our hearts, for it is

A Prayer—Pouring out of God’s Spirit
Lord God, nothing is impossible for you. So we pray that the coming new year will begin a season where we are like the captives that you brought back from Zion, may we be like men and women who dreamed. Fill our mouths dear God with laughter and our tongues with songs of joy because of the abundant fruit that you will bear among us in this coming season.

A Prayer—Deeply Rooted in Christ, by Faith
For all of these reasons I kneel before you Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derive our names. I pray that out of your glorious riches given the Saints in the heavenly realms that you will strengthen each of us with power through the Holy Spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith.
A Prayer—Deeply Rooted in Christ, by Faith

A Prayer--of Love
Father, we thank you for showing your love among us by sending your one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. I praise you Father that this is indeed your great love for us. It is not as if we loved you, but that you loved us and sent your Son Jesus as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Thank you Lord God for this gift of life! Thank you Lord! Thank you!

We know also Father that there is no fear in love. So we pray that your perfect love drive all fear from us because the one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Therefore we know and we testify that out of your deep love for us you sent your Son Jesus to be the Savior of the world. And we will further testify Lord, and give thanks, that whoever acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, has your assurance that you our precious God lives in them and them in God.
And so Lord, teach us to know and rely on this deep love that you our God have for us because you, O God, are love. Teach us, O Lord, to live in love and live in you our God; and Father we give thanks that you our God in turn will live in us. In this way make love complete among us so that we will have confidence on the Day of Judgment, because in this world we are like you, as ambassadors of Christ
We know also Father that there is no fear in love. So we pray that your perfect love drive all fear from us because the one who fears is not made perfect in love.
We love you Father, because you first loved us. So may we love others Lord for anyone who does not love his others, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And you have given us this command to obey God, and may we obey it with all our heart: Whoever loves God must also love others.

A Prayer--The Joy of Salvation
I give thanks and praise to you my God, the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, because you have blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. I stand in awe Lord God that you chose me in Christ before you even created the world to be holy and blameless in your sight!

I give thanks and praise to you my God, the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, because you have blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. I stand in awe Lord God that you chose me in Christ before you even created the world to be holy and blameless in your sight!
Who am I, O Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have adopted us into this royal priesthood! For you know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word or even a prayer is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. My sins are laid bare before you Lord, since nothing in all creation is hidden from your sight.
Father, even though I am not innocent and fall short of the glory of God, you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Therefore Lord with gratitude and sincerity of heart, I will forever declare the praises of Him who called me out of darkness and into his wonderful light!
For once I was lost, dead in my sins and transgression in which I use to live. But now you have made me alive in Christ Jesus my Lord, and you have enabled me to embrace such a great salvation in Him.
So now Father, grant me a heart of compassion and humility. I pray to seek your peace and pursue your will with all my heart; for I know that your eyes are always upon me and that your ears are always attentive to my prayers.
For you have lavished your love in Christ Jesus upon me Father, with all wisdom and understanding; you have marked us in Christ with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit; and you have enabled my heart to set apart Christ Jesus as Lord!
So I declare that you are my God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. I give you thanks Father, for you alone are good, and you steadfast love in Christ Jesus endures forever.
