Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Thursday 9/13/2012

A Prayer of Thanks

O God, you are my God; apart from you I have no good thing. You have made known to me the path of life through faith in your son Jesus Christ. You have welcomed me through the narrow gate of Christ; for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction Father, and I know that many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to Life, and how it must sadden your heart Holy Father that only a few find it.

Therefore I give thanks Lord, that you have assigned me my portion and my cup in Christ; you have made my lot secure in Him. The boundary of the hope of eternal life has fallen in pleasant places for me; for surely I have a delightful inheritance in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore I will praise you Lord, as your Holy Spirit counsels and guides me to you. At night may the Spirit of the Lord reside in my heart and instruct me.

I have set my heart on seeking your face that is always before me Lord, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices over the hope of my salvation; my body also will rest secure in the precious knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord. You will fill me with the joy of Christ in your presence, with heavenly rewards in the One who sits at your right hand.

As for the saints who are in the land, are we not the glorious ones in Christ in whom you take delight. For the sake of our blessed inheritance in Christ, I pray that you keep us safe from the evil one O God, for we have taken refuge in you.
So may we never miss the grace of you our God as we abide wholeheartedly in Christ Jesus our Lord!
In Christ name I Pray
Amen

Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Wednesday 9/12/2012

A Prayer—Spiritual Battle by the Power of the Cross

Today Almighty God, I will delight myself in you, my God all day; Today, I will delight myself in Christ Jesus my Lord. Though in this world Father, I have seen trials, and troubles come and go, I shall not grieve, but will pray and shout with songs of joy; for the joy of the LORD God is my strength.

Because of your great mercy Father, I will praise you forever for the gift of life given me in Jesus Christ. I praise you and I thank you that I have this intimate relationship with you, my God: the blessings to know you, the one true God, and the blessings of knowing Jesus Christ, whom you sent.

For in His name Father, I have great hope, and shall not despair; in His name O God, and by His blood, you have rescued me from darkness; in Christ’s name you have given me a spirit of power to overcome the evils of this world; and I thank you Lord God, and I wholeheartedly praise you; for You are my God, and it is right to give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. I give you thanks Lord God, for you alone are good, and your love for us in Christ endures forever.

Father, though I live in this world, because of Christ Jesus, I do not wage war as the world does. The weapons in Christ that you have given me to fight with are not the weapons of this world. On the contrary, you have granted me His divine power to demolish strongholds.

Therefore I will use Christ power to demolish unbelief, doubt, fear, anxiety, luke-warmness, and any other stronghold or arguments that dare set themselves up against the precious knowledge of God and Christ in my life;

And putting on the full armor of God this day, and by the power of my faith in Christ’s Crucifixion, Resurrection, and His Ascension, I take my firm stand and extinguish all the arrows and schemes of the evil one coming against me this day.
In Christ Name I Pray
Amen

A Prayer--I Want to Know Christ

Father, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I pray that I may gain Christ and be found in him Father, not having a righteousness of my own, but a righteousness which is through faith in Christ.

Father I pray for a deep rich desire to really know Jesus Christ; and know the divine power of his resurrection from the dead; and know the intimate fellowship of sharing in his sufferings; becoming like Christ in his death, and somehow, someway, someday Lord, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Amen

A Prayer— Of Deliverance, May God Be Exalted

I love you, O Lord, my strength for you are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, you are my shield, and the horn of my salvation, Lord God you are my stronghold.

I call to you Lord, for you are worthy of praise, and you saved me from the enemy. The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called to you Lord Jesus Christ; I cried to my God for help. From heaven you heard my voice; my cry came before you.

You reached down from on high and took hold of me; you drew me out of the deep waters of sin and death. You rescued me from the power of the enemy, from my foe, who were too strong for me. The arrows of the enemy confronted me in the midst of my trails, but the Lord God Almighty was my support, and my mighty deliverer.

You brought me out into the spaciousness and mercy of Jesus Christ; you rescued me since you delighted in me because of Christ. The Lord God has dealt with me according to my righteousness found only in Jesus Christ; according to the cleanness of my hands because of the Cross.

For I pledge to always keep the ways of my Lord Jesus Christ; may I never sin by turning from you my God, since your word is ever before me; I have not turned away from your commands. I have been blameless before you and have kept myself from sin.

May you, O Lord, keep my lamp in Christ burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
With your help I can advance against any trial; with my God I can overcome all. As for you God, your way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; you are a shield to all who take refuge in you through Christ. For who is God Almighty besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?

It is you God who arms me with strength; and it is you Father that keeps my way secure. May your right hand Jesus Christ sustain me always; The Lord God lives! Praise be to God my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! He is the God who saves me, Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the Saints; I will sing the praises of your Holy name.

In Christ Name I pray.
Amen

Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Sunday 9/9/2012

A Prayer of Praise

O God, you are my God. Earnestly I seek you; for through Christ Jesus I have beheld your power and your divine glory. Through Christ Jesus I know that your love is better than life. Therefore my lips will glorify you each day. I will praise you as long as I live, and in Christ name I will bow down in reverence to your holy name.

For you are God our Father; you are the God of Abraham; the God of Isaac; you are the God of Jacob.

You are the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; and I praise you this day because through Christ Jesus your Spirit set me free from the law of sin and death. I praise you because in your great mercy you have rescued me from the dominion of darkness and brought me into the kingdom of your Son that you love, in whom I have redemption, the forgiveness of all my sins.

You are the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets. The God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

Therefore my heart will declare your praise and sing the song of the lamb: That Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts in and through Christ have been revealed.

Amen

A Prayer for Anointing

Holy Father, I thank you for the overflow of hope that you have given me through Christ and the power of your Holy Spirit; I give thanks you for being allowed to participate in your divine nature. I pray that you would enable me to devote myself to prayer, being watchful for your answers; and grateful as we receive them.

For according to your great promise of the Holy Spirit, Jesus, you promised to hear our prayers when you said; “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

Therefore Lord, I thank you for the deposit of your Holy Spirit which you have given me, and in accordance with your promise, I ask for a greater anointing; I seek the depths of a life filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit Father, and I pray to always find it; I knock on your doors or heaven, Lord Jesus, for the anointing of your Holy Spirit, knowing that you will open fully and completely, the doors of the riches of a life filled, in increasing measure each day with the Holy Spirit.

May your Kingdom come Father; may your will be done.

A Prayer to Live for God

In view of your great mercy to me Father, I faithfully offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to you my God; and may this act of worship be pleasing in your sight, O Lord; for you are my God, my Rock and my Redeemer.

I pray to exercise the power and authority of Christ given me Lord with the full armor of God, to be steadfast in honoring and obeying you, as I refuse to conform to the pattern of this world, and to the worries of this life. I pray earnestly to be transformed by the renewing of my mind in Jesus Christ. And by your grace and your calling of me into your eternal glory in Christ, may you restore my heart in Christ; make my walk with you the Living God strong, firm and steadfast.

I pray to love you my God with all my heart, with all my soul; with my entire mind, and with all my strength. I pray also to love others deeply and sincerely from my heart hating what is evil; and clinging to what is good. I pray to devote myself to the body of Christ in sincere love, and to always Honor others above myself. May I never be lacking in zeal Father, but keep my spiritual fervor serving you at all times,

I pray to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. I will joyfully share with God's people who are in need and practice hospitality. I pray to bless those who persecute me, and do not curse or condemn anyone. Father, I will rejoice with those who rejoice in Christ; mourn with those who mourn and suffer, and live in a spirit of harmony with everyone as much as it depends upon me.

May pride and conceit be strangers in my life; and may I never be overcome by these sins, nor be overcome by any other evils. By the Power of the Blood of the Lamb, Father, and the faithful word of my testimony about Jesus, I pray to overcome the evil one’s arrows and schemes warring against this day. I will not love my own life so much Father, as to shrink from true self- denial and death-to-self each day.

In Christ Name I Pray.
Amen
