A Prayer—Of Thanksgiving for God’s Glory
The heavens declare your Glory O God; even the skies proclaim the work of your hands. Day after day they pour forth your testimony; night after night they display the knowledge of your divine nature. There is no speech or language where the voice of your creation does not display your Glory Father.
For the creation itself teaches us about you O God; the creation itself making who you are clear and plain to us. For since the creation of the world Father, your invisible qualities—your eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what you have made, so that men are without excuse for not giving you thanks.
So Father, I give you thanks for Jesus, the author of our salvation for through him all things in creation were made; and without him nothing in creation was made that has been made.
I also give thanks that you have given us this new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead; and for this, unmovable, unshakable inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade, being kept in heaven for us, who through faith are shielded by your power until the 2nd coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I thank you Lord God Almighty that you chose me in Christ Jesus before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in your sight. I thank you that in your great love, you predestined me to be adopted as your son (daughter) through faith in Jesus Christ even as the creation continues to wait in eager expectation for more of the Sons of God to be revealed.
So may your Glorify and the radiance of Jesus Christ be revealed even more in our lives O Lord. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my God, my Rock and my Redeemer!
In Jesus Name I Pray
Amen
