Each day this Blog posts prayer from the Word of God that you can pray each day. The prayers are modified to make them very personal and all are Jesus Christ focused. You are encouraged to post your own prayers from scriptures as well. The Author, Jack Pinnock, is an Elder and The Prayer Ministry Director of The Real Life Church.

A Prayer—Praise the Lord O my Soul
Praise the Lord O my soul. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise you Father!
The Lord our God builds up His house; he gathers the saints for
salvation. O God you heal the brokenhearted and bind up our wounds. You,
O Lord, save and sustain the humble on the path of life, but cast the
wicked to the ground on the path to death.
For wide is the
gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and how is must
sadden your heart O God, that many enter through it. But small is the
gate and narrow the road that leads to life and how we sorrow with you
Father, that only a few find it.
So enable that Saints in the
land, O God, to sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; inspire our hearts
to make music to our God. For it is you our God that covers the sky with
clouds; you supply the earth with rain and make grass grow on the
hills; you provide food for every living creature on earth and in the
seas. You determine the number of the stars and call them each by name!
For Great is the Lord our God; and mighty is your power; your
understanding O God has no limit.
Your pleasure, Lord God, is
not in the strength of the neither mighty nor powerful, nor do you
delight in the wisdom and achievements of mankind; so we praise you Lord
God, that your delight is in those who fear you, and those who put
their hope in your unfailing love in Jesus Christ or Savior.
So
we will extol the Lord our God forever, for He has revealed his word to
His Prophets and to His Saints. Praise the Lord O my soul; praise the
Lord.
In Christ Name I Pray
Amen

A Prayer—of Spiritual Warfare
Lord God, although we live in this world we refuse to wage war as the
world does. The powerful weapons of our life of faith and obedience to
your message of Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection, and ascension are
not the weapons of this world.
On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We
therefore demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up
against the knowledge of God; and by the divine power of Christ, we take
captive every thought and make them all obedient to Jesus Christ.
O Lord our God, be not far off in this battle; O my Strength, always
come quickly to help us. Deliver our lives from all evil; our precious
life in Christ from the power of darkness. Rescue us from the devils
schemes; save us from his flaming arrows.
For dominion belongs
to you Lord and you rule over heaven and earth. I praise you that you
always and forever will work through to the good in the lives of all who
love you, and who fear your holy name.
In Christ Name I Pray
Amen

A Prayer—of Praise
I will exalt you, my God and my King; I will praise your name for ever
and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and
ever.
Great is the Lord and
most worthy of praise; your greatness no one can fathom. One generation
will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.
They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will
meditate on your wonderful works. They will tell of the power of your
awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They will
celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your
righteousness. For the Lord our God is gracious and compassionate, slow
to anger and rich in love. You are good O Lord to all; you have
compassion on all you have made.
All you have made will praise
you, O Lord; your saints will extol you. They will tell of the glory of
your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all men may know of your
mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is
an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all
generations. You are faithful to all your promises; and you are loving
toward all you have made.
My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise your holy name.

A Prayer—of Transformation, Godliness, Repentance
Since we have been raised with Christ, O God, please help us to set our
hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at your right hand. Yes
Lord, may we set our minds on things above, not on earthly things.
For In Christ Jesus we died, and we thank you that our lives are now
hidden with Christ in you, our God. So we praise you Father, and we
thank you that when Christ, who is our life appears, then we also will
appear with him in glory.
Therefore I pray in earnest that we
put to death whatever belongs to our earthly nature: including sexual
immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, all of which is
idolatry; and may we put to death anything else in our lives that is not
pleasing to you, our God. We know Lord that it is because of these
that the wrath of God is coming.
I give thanks that because of
your great mercy to us in Christ, the old self was taken off and the
new self put on, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image our
Creator, The Lord God Almighty is his name.
But now O God, I
pray that we rid ourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage,
malice, slander, and filthy language from our lips. As your chosen
people Father, holy and dearly loved by you, I pray that we clothe
ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
I pray that we bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances we
may have against one another. Empower us to forgive O God, just, as in
Christ Jesus, you forgave us.
And over all these virtues
Father, I pray that we put on love, which binds them all together in
perfect unity. I pray that the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, since
as members of one body we were called to peace. And I pray that we
would always be thankful.
I pray that the word of Christ dwell
in us richly, O God. When we come together to sing psalms, hymns and
spiritual songs may our hearts overflow with gratitude to you our God
for all that you have done for us through Jesus Christ our Lord.
And whatever we you do, Father, whether in word or deed, I pray that we
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to you, our God
and Father through him.
In Christ Name I Pray,
Amen

Words Of Encouragement--12/25/2012--A Poem for Christ
I wrote this in 2004 and post it every holiday season. Enjoy.
A Poem For Him
Money in the Millions upon Millions will come and eventually go.
What we have in God & Christ will last, and the world does not yet know.
Bringing Glory to God with a life of earnest prayers, and service to him through and through,
This is really our true life on earth and the task we must do.
Christ, this great mystery of God, and the forgiveness of all sin,
Love, trust and faith in his Holy Blood, with wholehearted pursuit of this I can win.
So power, friends, homes, family, even material wealth are all good when things are straight,
But a life completely devoted to God is what is lasting, good, and great;
This Hope is Holy, it is precious, and it fills all voids with the treasure of Christ for us his seeds,
Truly these are the things, which are Godly, powerful, and persistent commitment to them is what will fulfill our every need.

A Prayer—O Lord my Strength
I love you, O LORD, my strength. I thank you that are my rock, my
fortress and my deliverer; My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge;
you are my shield, and the horn of my salvation; you are my stronghold.
The LORD Jesus Christ is my light and my salvation —whom shall I fear O
God, but you alone? You are the stronghold of my life Father—of whom
shall I be afraid? When the evil day comes against me to devour me, it
will stumble and fall. Though many trails besiege me, my heart will not
fear; though spiritual war breaks out against me, even then I will be
confident.
One thing I ask from you Father, this is what I
seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
through faith in Jesus Christ; that I may gaze on the beauty and
majesty of the LORD and seek you wholeheartedly at all times.
For in the days of trouble you keep safely in Christ. For you are my
God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. I
give you thanks Lord, for you are good, and your love endures forever.
In Christ Name I Pray
Amen
