Oneness--Praying Scriptures—A Special Prayer Saturday 8/25/2012

A Pray of Thanksgiving

Psalm 119:5-32, Mixed with Luke 17:5, Matthew 7:13, Acts 20:27, Hebrews 12:3, Psalm 27:4, Psalm 29:2

Oh, God, I pray that you would make my way steadfast in Christ, overflowing with your strength as I seek to honor you with wholehearted devotion.

I thank you and I praise you for your mercy; and for your goodness to me in Jesus Christ. I will obey you completely Father, and I thank you that you have delivered me with power from the dominion of darkness.

So, Lord, How can I keep my way pure? By living according to your word! By remaining in the vine of Christ! For apart from you Lord, I can do nothing! Therefore I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your precious word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Praise be to you, O Lord, teach me to do your will. With my lips, I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. I rejoice in following Jesus as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your word and consider your ways Lord. I delight in you O God, and I will not neglect your word.

Do good to your servant Father, that I may live in Christ, and obey your word. Open the eyes of my heart that I may see the divine wonders of your word; that I may understand the great mystery of Christ; that I may gaze upon the beauty and the majesty of the Lord, and worship Him in the Splendor of His holiness. May my soul be consumed with longing for your Holy prescience in my life Father, teach me about your son.

At times I am laid low in the dust Lord God, preserve my life in Christ according to your word. At times my soul is weary with sorrow so increase my faith in Jesus Christ, so that I may never grow weary and lose heart.

For Lord God Almighty, I have freely repented of my old life of sin and rebellion against you; I have joyfully and obediently chosen the narrow road you command. I have set my whole heart on following you Lord Jesus Christ, and I will hold fast to your name to the very end;

So Lord, as I strive to proclaim the whole will of God with all my heart, do not let me be put to shame. I will run forever in the path of your commands, for it is you Lord Jesus that set me free from sin; and in loving obedience I will call upon your great and holy name.

In Christ Name
Amen
