A Prayer of Thanksgiving
Holy Father, I thank you for the blessings of forgiving my many transgressions; and I thank you that through Jesus Christ all my sins have been are covered. I especially thank you Lord for the rich and eternal blessings that because of Christ you will never count my sins against me; and in my spirit may there be no deceit.
As I once sat in darkness Father, and kept silent before you, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your divine hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord"---and you forgave the guilt of my sin through Jesus Christ my Lord.
Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you Father while you may be found; you are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with the deliverance of Jesus Christ my Lord.
Please instruct me Father and teach me the way I should go; let your Holy Spirit counsel me and watch over you. Do not let me be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.
May your unfailing love surround me Lord and may I trust in you with all my heart. Teach me to rejoice always in my Lord Jesus Christ, and live before you with an upright heart;
Because for me there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom I live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom I also live.
In Christ Name I Pray
Amen
